A home energy assessment provides a clear road map of customized home recommendations, cash incentives to offset improvement costs, and expert guidance every step of the way. The energy assessment is performed by a trained and certified Trade Ally contractor and helps pinpoint where you can save money and enjoy greater home comfort. The energy assessment includes a visual inspection, diagnostic testing, and a customized, prioritized report with a recommended energy improvements.

Homeowners who receive an energy assessment typically see utility bill savings of 20 percent or more. Plus, you'll qualify for the highest incentives for insulation and air sealing projects. Energy assessments may vary in scope and typcially range between $200-$400 dollars. Final scope and cost often depend upon the age, size, and condition of your home. If you qualify for Tier 2 incentives, the assessment fee is reduced to a $50 co-pay.
